Thanks for visiting the academic site of Tanner Williams. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education-Institutional Research from the University of Kentucky.
I am a scholar of moral education and educational measurement, specializing in the philosophical foundations and empirical assessment of character and virtue development in higher education. My research integrates psychometric techniques (Rasch Measurement Theory) with contemporary questions in moral psychology, educational ethics, and program evaluation.
My current research explores how practical wisdom (phronesis) can be measured and cultivated through educational interventions and institutional practices.
NEWSLETTER
In Cognitive Craftsmanship, I provide updates on my current research, things I find interesting, and offer reflections on virtue, education, theology, philosophy, and the life of the mind.
