Foundations for Academic success

Foundations for Academic Success: This course helps at-risk and probation status students develop effective learning strategies and skills needed to achieve their academic goals and professional objectives (2021-Present)

I really loved this class, it broke me down and structured me again. I am really fortunate to be here, even if it wasn’t the way I wanted it to be. Professor Williams is fantastic. I will recommend this class to anyone who is in a similar situation as myself!

  • Being back in an academic work environment after ten-plus years I was a bit nervous about it. The guidance throughout the courses has helped me feel more confident and equipped about my decision in taking classes.
  • Thoroughly enjoyed the material and found it extremely helpful in building a strong foundation on which to begin my academic journey. As someone who has been out of academia for nearly twenty years, I can’t say enough how much I appreciated the instruction, guidance and support through this class – from both the material and the instructor, Prof. Williams. I would recommend this course for any student beginning graduate work, especially after an extended period away from the classroom.
